Requirements
- Demonstrate professional programming experience regularly shipping code to production at a software product company.
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- 1-3 years of internships or relevant work experience.
- Able to quickly diagnose, debug, and solve code problems.
- Comfortable using data to support and validate your concepts.
Responsibilities
- Build application features and services that meet business needs while remaining scalable, performant, and easy to maintain.
- Work with most of the following skills, technologies, tools, processes, and frameworks: Server-side languages (TypeScript, Python, Go, Java, or similar), Front-end frameworks (React or other modern JavaScript frameworks), Databases (Basic SQL-writing skills and experience in PostgreSQL or MySQL), Cloud and containerization (Managed services (AWS or GCP), with an emphasis on Kubernetes deployments), Observability (Tools such as New Relic and DataDog), Infrastructure as code (languages like Terraform, or frameworks like AWS CDK), AI (LLMs like ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar for your daily work), Architectures (REST and event-based architectures, microservices-based approaches), System design (Designing systems and articulating designs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders), Agile methodologies (Experience with sprints, stand-ups, and other ceremonies), Communication tools (Asynchronous (Slack, MS Teams, Google Docs) and synchronous (Google Meet, Zoom)).
