Requirements
- Accredited Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with Internship experience or six (6) months or more related work experience.
- Accredited Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Proficiency in embedded software development using C/C++ or Python.
- Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink, dSPACE, and Autosar.
- Knowledge of additional programming languages or controls software a plus.
- Familiarity with Controller Area Network (CAN)/SAE J1939 and/or Vehicle Networking.
- Automotive/Heavy Equipment Repair or Design Experience.
- Wire harness and/or printed circuit board design experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Under close supervision, perform basic engineering calculations, investigations, and tasks as assigned according to Oshkosh as well as general industry engineering standards and processes.
- Support Senior Engineers in the preparation of basic plans, designs, computation methods, and/or reporting.
- Contribute to cross-functional teams to ensure system integration and performance.
- Under close supervision, will design electrical and electro-mechanical parts and components to correct parameters and specifications while incorporating quality, cost, reliability and ease of manufacturing.
- Will support perform testing, debugging, and validation of electrical and embedded software systems.
- Support Senior Engineers with basic and accurate calculations, analysis and investigation according to Oshkosh as well as general industry engineering standards and processes.
- Provide technical assistance for prototype, pilot or production builds, including resolution of problems in manufacturing.
- Process engineering information through change notices, change proposals, and the creation of thorough print documentation.
- Collaborate as needed with other engineering or business support disciplines internally as well as suppliers externally.
- Direct, in-person collaboration with the engineering team requires this position to be 100% on site.

Preferred Qualifications
