Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and 5+ years of aviation industry experience (or a minimum high school diploma / GED with an additional 4+ years of aviation industry experience)
  • 5+ years of commercial aircraft engines experience
  • 5+ years of experience working with aviation regulatory agencies
  • 1+ year of experience with FAA FAR 145 procedures and processes

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary interface with regulatory agencies, specifically FAA and EASA
  • Develop the new GE site’s Quality system to meet all regulatory and business requirements
  • Create a ‘Culture of Quality,’ where Quality is at the forefront of everyone’s mind
  • Oversee and Perform internal audits locally and at remote locations
  • Conduct and own the Quality training plan for all staff as required
  • Work with the Business Leader and support team to maintain the GE Aerospace Flight Deck Management System
  • Own the proactive quality framework for reducing quality risk at the shop
  • Lead RCCA Execution for the shop facilitating best practice sharing with other GE Aerospace and OWS shops

Preferred Qualifications

  • Qualified Auditor or Auditing experience
  • Test Cell experience preferred but other MRO experience will be considered
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
  • Established project management skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
