Requirements
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and 5+ years of aviation industry experience (or a minimum high school diploma / GED with an additional 4+ years of aviation industry experience)
- 5+ years of commercial aircraft engines experience
- 5+ years of experience working with aviation regulatory agencies
- 1+ year of experience with FAA FAR 145 procedures and processes
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary interface with regulatory agencies, specifically FAA and EASA
- Develop the new GE site’s Quality system to meet all regulatory and business requirements
- Create a ‘Culture of Quality,’ where Quality is at the forefront of everyone’s mind
- Oversee and Perform internal audits locally and at remote locations
- Conduct and own the Quality training plan for all staff as required
- Work with the Business Leader and support team to maintain the GE Aerospace Flight Deck Management System
- Own the proactive quality framework for reducing quality risk at the shop
- Lead RCCA Execution for the shop facilitating best practice sharing with other GE Aerospace and OWS shops
Preferred Qualifications
- Qualified Auditor or Auditing experience
- Test Cell experience preferred but other MRO experience will be considered
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Established project management skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
