Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- Preferred experience working as a Patient Care Tech, nursing assistant, or nursing student enrolled in an accredited institution with the completion of one Adult Medical/Surgical course with hands on clinical experience
- Minimum of 0-1 year of patient care experience in a health care environment
- Must successfully pass the on-line course modules, phlebotomy training and skills validation for basic and advanced skills, and EKG training within six months of hire date
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) and must be maintained
Responsibilities
- Perform multi-skilled activities to support a decentralized patient-centered approach to patient care
- Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Achieve desired outcomes in patient care
