Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities
- Participate in all facets of the systems engineering process – system architecture, systems engineering, and project management, though the focus of the team is software verification to DO178B/C standards.
- Participate in the definition of software planning activities and ensure compliance with and maintenance of approved plans.
- Define and formalize system, software, and human integration requirements; ensure compatibility of software requirements with hardware requirements.
- Define and execute engineering lifecycle test, validation, and verification activities.
- Apply Lean principles, GE best practices, and design standards to control system software designs.
- Lead the application of configuration management tools to software designs.
- Validate and verify software designs in a diversity of system integration environments – from local desktop computer simulations to fully representative flight tests.
- Present designs and validation results to internal (GE) and external (customer, agency, government, …) customers.
- Collaborate effectively in a diverse, global, distributed work environment.

- Coding experience in MATLAB, python, C/C++, SCADE, VBA, Perl, etc.
- Real time embedded software or firmware design experience.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals.
- Demonstrated team leadership, collaboration, and facilitation skills.
- Flexible and friendly approach to working in teams.
- Project planning and project management experience.
- Keen listener and innate drive to succeed.
