Requirements
- Hands-on testing of Commercial grade embedded hardware products and systems
- 2+ years of technical experience in hardware and firmware testing and troubleshooting complex systems
- Defect tracking and reporting approaches and tools such as GitHub, Gitlab or Jira
- Most standard communications environments and protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Testing and validation over the full product development process within the Stage Gate process, including:
- Review of product requirements and technical specifications to ensure appropriate test strategies can be designed and executed effectively and efficiently
- Design, planning, execution and reporting on software, electronics and mechanical engineering design integration and system tests
- Contributing to development and implementation of improvements to testing procedures and equipment to increase process efficiency and product quality
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of electronics and embedded designs and systems
- Exposure to embedded devices
