Requirements
- A 2-year degree in Electronics or related field, Certified Electronics Program (18 months), or a 4-year degree in Electronics Engineering Technology (EET) or related field.
- Depending on your education, 1-3 years of manufacturing experience or equivalent knowledge.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting to the component level, interpreting schematics, and using tools like voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and Hi-Pot meters.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of manufacturing processes are essential.
- PR Certification must be obtained within the probationary period.
Responsibilities
- Use specialized test equipment to evaluate electronic products, identifying issues down to the component and sub-assembly level with precision.
- Analyze schematics, drawings, and specifications to set up and perform tests, ensuring products meet rigorous standards.
- Share your expertise by cross-training and mentoring other technicians, while providing technical guidance to assemblers.
- Recommend process improvements and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Provide clear written and oral feedback on test results, troubleshooting efforts, and quality observations.
- Keep your workstation and tools organized, comply with safety regulations, and engage in a self-directed teaming environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing and self-directed teaming environments.
- Lean manufacturing knowledge.
- Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards.
