Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Electronics training equivalent to 6 years technical trade school or military technical school
- Knowledge of and ability to use a variety of test and measurement instrumentation such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, multi-meters, power supplies, function generators, and oscilloscopes
Responsibilities
- Acceptance testing of a variety of flight hardware components, cables, and devices such as antennas, couplers, and triplexers
- Performing Continuity and Isolation testing, Monitor testing, and Functional testing
- Performing routine technical functions related to the support of development engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, and assembly of electronics and Electro-mechanical systems
- Working from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans to perform routine testing, checkout, troubleshooting, prototype building, environmental testing, and simple developmental engineering tasks
- Performing routine operational tests and fault isolation on development systems and equipment to ensure conformance with design specifications
- Diagnosing and isolating malfunctions down to component level
- Conducting defined engineering tests and collecting data as assigned
