Requirements
- An associate degree, technical degree, or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Broad knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures for managed work groups.
- Proven understanding and application of supervisory approaches for work direction, motivation, performance management, and disciplinary action.
- A minimum of 5 years of successful experience in a related field, demonstrating key responsibilities as outlined above.
- Ability to gauge, identify, and implement training based on skill assessment results.
- Proficiency in managing critical metrics and fault data using methods like tracking and measuring, evaluating and analyzing data, and implementing improvements.
- Proficiency in crafting reports and communication materials to track and report performance issues.
- A dedication to continuous improvement in the maintenance and operations of Material Handling Equipment (MHE or equivalent experience) to the customer.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coordinate, and direct all functions of your reporting staff to ensure flawless execution of tasks.
- Perform at a professional level to interpret and process complex, less-clearly defined issues.
- Identify and resolve complex problems, ensuring smooth business operations.
- Define workflows, jobs, and reporting relationships for maximum efficiency.
- Participate in the development of department budgets and business plans for your functional area.
- Evaluate and recommend changes in methods or procedures within your area of responsibility, and communicate these to the customer.
- Identify resource needs and develop justifications to support them.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems to maintain world-class performance standards.
