Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license (non negotiable)
• Pass a background check
• Minimum of 3 years hands on electrical experience
• Proficiency in electrical wiring, circuitry, and systems installation
• Strong understanding of AC and DC electrical principles
• Familiarity with solar photovoltaic (PV) technology
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively
• Read technical drawings and schematics
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Clear and concise communication skills
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment

Responsibilities

• Execute the assembly and mounting of solar panels on various structures
• Connect solar panels to electrical systems, including inverters, batteries, and grid interconnection points
• Conduct thorough testing of solar energy systems to verify proper functionality and performance
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on solar panels and associated equipment
• Maintain accurate records of installation activities
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain system operation
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines
• Stay updated on industry advancements, new technologies, and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Possession of relevant certifications, such as a journeyman electrician license
• NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) certification
• OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) training
