Requirements
- Must possess an Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI w/ Poly level clearance.
- Technical, vocational or trade school graduate for the electrical trade.
- Eight (8)+ years of experience in electrical trade for maintenance or construction.
- Utility or Union certification as Lineman, and/or, Medium/High Voltage Electrician or equivalent.
- Must possess a strong background in industrial and commercial electrical apparatus and control circuity maintenance.
- Must possess a strong background in medium and low voltage switchgear.
- Must be thoroughly familiar with electrical maintenance of equipment.
- A willingness to work rotational shift if necessary, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Responsibilities
- Performs routine preventive maintenance and repairs on standard equipment.
- Construct and installs system components, equipment, and fixtures.
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots faults in installations.
- Makes modifications to a variety of devices using standard test equipment.
- Adheres to safety procedures when working with electricity.
- Measures and controls electrical parameters.
- Prepare technical documentation.
