Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical major.
- Minimum of four (4) years experience with reliability engineering, electrical distribution systems in manufacturing or technical support, including project management.
- Demonstrated project management experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Demonstrated oral/presentation and written communication skills across levels and departments
- Demonstrated technical writing (i.e., technical communications, procedures)
- Demonstrated computer skills (MS Office)
Responsibilities
- Lead the Manufacturing Division electrical safety program and compliance to electrical safety regulatory requirements including program enhancements, field execution, training, etc.
- Lead the Manufacturing Division Electrical Safety Program including training, hazardous energy control, and compliance to regulatory/industry requirements.
- Develop and execute electrical reliability strategy including procedure development, metrics, and quarterly reporting.
- Evaluate systems and components and develop strategies to optimize and ensure reliability of the utility asset throughout the asset life cycle.
- Interface with operations, maintenance, and central utilities for all electrical maintenance, projects, and initiatives.
- Capital planning – identify capital projects, create multi-year capital plan, and serve as project manager or capital team leader for electrical projects.
- Energy reduction – identify and execute energy related projects in support of site energy reduction goals.
- Provide technical assistance to Engineering, Maintenance, and Utilities for electrical systems and equipment including failure analysis, corrective actions, startup/commissioning, etc.
- Create procedures and reference documents for electrical systems and practices.
- Approve and support modifications of systems and equipment through change control, procedural updates, and drawing updates.
- Develop maintenance procedures and PMs for electrical systems and ensure timely execution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with electrical distribution system design or operation for GMP regulated facilities.
- Working knowledge of cGMP for pharmaceutical and/or vaccine manufacturing
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability professional (CMRP) or Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Certification
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification
- Computerized Management Maintenance Systems, SAP, ProCal, or Hexagon
- Process Information (PI)
