Electrical Engineering Supervisor – Test Equipment

Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a broad application of electrical engineering skills or Master of Science Electrical Engineering with 6 years’ experience
Technical mastery of their functional area of assignment is necessary in order to serve as a mentor for their team
Strong people skills to lead assigned team, interface with other section heads, and global managers, and assist with globally matrixed projects
Broad experience with development of a variety of engineering drawings, schematics, and technical reports, thereby possessing a strong ability to review, critique, and approve the engineering work of others (PLM Technical Approver role)

Lead a team of electrical engineers assigned to design and develop test equipment in the Aircraft Group
Provide technical mentoring and training to develop the team’s competency, skills, and efficiency
Work together with the Site Engineering Manager to assign engineers to projects as required
Accountable for the team’s performance in the execution of their project responsibilities
Enforce process compliance and participate in process development to improve efficiency and rigor
Conduct performance reviews for assigned staff and participate in workforce planning and recruiting/hiring
Serve as a direct individual contributor to assigned projects at 50% capacity
