Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in electrical engineering, preferably in defense or aerospace.
- Proficiency in electrical design software such as Altium Designer or Cadence.
- Experience in embedded systems programming.
- Strong understanding of power systems, analog/digital electronics, and circuit design.
- Strong performance in PCB Design, Schematic design, PCB layout, and Breadboards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and analyze printed circuit boards for guidance systems, communication systems, and power distribution.
- Develop the electro-mechanical design for wire harnesses on our drone aircraft.
- Create detailed design drawings and schematics for electrical equipment.
- Rapidly construct prototypes using breadboards and off-the-shelf equipment. Test and evaluate prototypes to verify design integrity and performance specifications.
- Work closely with software engineers to integrate embedded systems into defense products like weapons and drones.
- Partner with mechanical engineers, systems engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical components into the overall design.
- Implement and oversee quality checks to ensure that products meet safety and reliability standards, as well as military requirements.
- Ensure all electrical engineering activities adhere to industry and defense regulations, including safety and export control.
Preferred Qualifications
- Security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Experience in RF engineering.
- Familiarity with MIL-STD and other defense industry standards.
- Hands-on experience with hardware prototyping and testing.
