Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field with at least 2 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
- Knowledge in managing EHS projects and initiatives
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and trends.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to report findings and make recommendations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to group projects.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze environmental data from various sources
- Identify patterns and trends in data
- Create reports and presentations to communicate findings
- Conduct assessments to evaluate potential environmental impacts of projects or policies
- Recommend measures to mitigate negative impacts
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations
- Develop and implement monitoring programs to track environmental indicators
- Evaluate and interpret monitoring data
- Identify and address any issues or concerns
- Engage and communicate with stakeholders, such as government agencies, community groups, and industry partners
- Provide updates on environmental initiatives and progress
- Address any questions or concerns from stakeholders
- Manage and coordinate various environmental projects
- Develop project timelines and budgets
- Monitor progress and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Stay up-to-date on the latest environmental technologies, regulations, and trends
- Conduct research to support environmental initiatives
- Make recommendations for incorporating new technologies or practices
- Work closely with other team members, such as scientists, engineers, and policymakers
- Collaborate on projects and share knowledge and expertise
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas and suggestions
- Identify and address environmental problems and challenges
- Use critical thinking skills to develop creative and effective solutions
- Adapt to changing situations and find ways to overcome obstacles.
