Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (engineering, EHS or chemistry preferred)
- A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in water/wastewater treatment projects, product/project safety, or related fields.
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment and operate independently to deliver business results.
- Clear and concise communication skills.
- Project Management skills / experience
- Drive a winning mentality and culture.
- Excellent computer skills (i.e., Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
- Relevant field experience working around water treatment equipment.
- Background in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) tools Apollo / Tap Root.
- Focus on customer relationships (both external and internal customers).
- Knowledge of and/or demonstrated ability to learn new equipment and processes related to Veolia WTS products and systems including but not limited to RO/ED, UF/MBR, Ion Exchange, ADT and Thermal technologies.
- Up to 25 to 50% Travel
Responsibilities
- Reviewing engineered systems through design phase with an EHS mindset.
- Perform HAZOP / What If? / PHA / FMEA
- Organize and drive feedback to engineering for sustained product and project delivery improvement.
- Training/Mentoring in the field of company staff or partners for site visits, commissioning activities
- Managing customer expectations and ensuring that the highest standards are maintained by Veolia WTS employees.
- Communicate with fellow services, product team members, engineering, process & controls groups to ensure issues are recorded and understood to allow uninterrupted customer service.
- Travel to customer sites to provide specific attention to project safety to ensure the customer experience is positive.
- Work independently, being able to set goals and accomplish them.
- Use their knowledge, and their observations of events at customers sites to formulate a plan to resolve the issues.
- Root Cause Analysis experience/training for solving incident investigation.
- Mechanical experience and know-how (hands on, reading and interpreting drawings, etc.), particularly with water treatment equipment (pumps, valves, instrumentation, relief valves, regulators, pneumatic systems, etc.).
