Requirements
- Must have bachelor’s degree
- Must have graduated from a JRCERT accredited dosimetry program
- Must obtain Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB) certification within two years of hire
Responsibilities
- Contour normal structures and create treatment plans using conformal, IMRT, and VMAT techniques
- Work with physicians and physicists to ensure plans meet target and OAR metrics as prescribed
- Participate in CT simulations and clinical setups on the linacs as needed to ensure patient setups are appropriate for the intended treatment plan
