Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1 year of related experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and related experience required
- Knowledge of group dynamics, direct sales, customer maintenance techniques, negotiation skills, and the ability to support implementation of programs is preferred
- Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively are required
- Good oral and written communications skills, including training and presentation skills is strongly preferred
- A current valid driver’s license and good driving record is required
- Ability to work on a team
Responsibilities
- Assist account managers to ensure blood drives achieve goal through drive management activities (e.g. on-site recruitment activities at blood drives, giving presentations to sponsoring organizations)
- Provide oversight and record keeping (Hemasphere online recruitment and scheduling system) to ensure blood drives are properly managed
- Provide routine organizational and operational support to blood drive coordinators to ensure achievement of collection operation and annual goals
- May schedule education programs for Sponsor contact, recruitment committees, line volunteers and volunteer telerecruiters within assigned groups to comply with all directives and regulatory requirements
- Cover vacant territories and work with local volunteers and leadership on blood drive management as needed
- Maintain accurate system records to provide tracking and statistical data on Sponsor group performance
- Appropriately utilize tools, technology and strategy provided by the organization to enhance customer service, efficiency and productivity
- Responsible for providing own transportation for business purposes
- Must attend Weekly in person team meetings at the Asheville ARC office
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of related experience preferred
