Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Systems Engineering
- 5+ years experience in Systems Engineering role
- Knowledge of standard DoD Systems Engineering Process and terminology
- Experience developing documentation associated with requirements, specifications, interface control, and verification & validation
- Participation in design review preparation and meeting support (System Requirements Reviews, Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews, and Test Readiness Reviews)
- Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering
- Active DoD SECRET security clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD TS/SCI security clearance
Responsibilities
- Needs and Requirements Analysis: Interface with customer and stakeholders to identify user needs, Concept of Operations, and system performance requirements.
- Functional Analysis: Collaborate with System Architects and Systems Engineers to identify and evaluate system concepts.
- Collaborative Design: Work with various engineering disciplines to analyze, design, refine, implement, and integrate hardware and software designs.
- Test and Evaluation: Lead test planning and procedure development with traceability to requirements for verification.
- Lifecycle Support: Provide expertise in the DoD lifecycle, including risk management, to identify and manage technical, cost, and schedule risks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with iterative development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum or Kanban and supporting tools (e.g., JIRA)
- Experience with C4ISR system design
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering architecture frameworks (DoDAF), tools (Cameo), and generation of models
- Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance
