Requirements
- Must possess a Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 10 years of planning experience.
- Four (4) of additional experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor’s education requirements
- Must possess a minimum of 7 years of DoD project management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/ Office 365 (specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.)
- Proficiency in SharePoint platforms
- Ability to learn new IT systems and create process instructions for others to follow
- Must have experience managing geographically distributed teams comprised of personnel from multiple companies
- Must have the ability to identify personnel and mission issues early, develop mitigation plans and communicate potential impacts and alternate course of action impacts to the customer
- Must work well independently and as part of a team
- Must have an intimate understanding of Military Information Support Operations (MISO)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be willing and able to travel CONUS and OCONUS in support of the program (Note some locations may be hazardous)
- Must possess a current U.S. Passport or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Must possess an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects
- Oversee and manage all operational aspects of ongoing projects, and serve as liaison between project technical support and planning, project team, and line management, and the Military/Government customer lead
- Responsible for all Project Management Tasks: project schedule, deliverable tracking, monitoring/manage project deliverables uploads to the share portal, C2IE data inputs, Monthly Technical Status Meeting slide preparations and presentation
- Responsible for financial analysis support such as: monitor project financial trends (spend plans, burn rates), provides what-if financial scenarios, prepares financial data reports, supports invoice approvals
- Responsible for travel management; drafts/submits all Travel Authorization Requests (TARS) into the workflow for approval; drafts/submits expense reports for the team to support timely invoicing activities
- Manages all subcontractor statements of work and work performance by suppliers, Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables
- Provide data management and Quality Assurance (QA) across multiple projects and information systems to meet both Knowledge Management (KM) and Records Management surety requirements to client facing enterprise
- Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress, and for intervention and problem solving with program manager and clients
- Provide periodic and ad hoc status reports focused on progress, newly identified issues, closed issues, and challenges
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree and PMP Certificate
- Prior Military experience – Relevant current DoD project management work with any of the Combatant Commands
- Familiarity with C2IE (Command and Control of the Information Environment) platform
- Familiarity with the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP) and the Joint Operational Planning Process (JOPP)
