Requirements

  • One or more years of previous commercial construction real estate loan administration experience or construction real estate paralegal experience
  • Finance or Accounting experience
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and credit and operational risk management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong ability to influence, effectively collaborate and coordinate closing activities with a variety of business partners and external partners
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to simultaneously manage multiple loan closings and competing priorities
  • Technically proficient, including Windows, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Solution oriented problem solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Prepare/review documentation in accordance with Bank policies and procedures
  • Facilitate closings with the client and ensure lien perfection
  • Work on routine to more complex documentation as assigned by Market Leader or designee
  • Interface with company vendors, legal counsel, line partners and clients to ensure world-class documentation accuracy
  • Complete primary financial booking and initial loan funding
  • Maintain primary responsibility for accuracy of documentation and SOR financial data
  • Ensure timely delivery of documents and elimination of controllable re-work

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent preferred
  • Syndications experience a plus
  • Loan IQ knowledge a plus
