Requirements
- One or more years of previous commercial construction real estate loan administration experience or construction real estate paralegal experience
- Finance or Accounting experience
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and credit and operational risk management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong ability to influence, effectively collaborate and coordinate closing activities with a variety of business partners and external partners
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to simultaneously manage multiple loan closings and competing priorities
- Technically proficient, including Windows, Excel, Word and Outlook
- Solution oriented problem solving skills
Responsibilities
- Prepare/review documentation in accordance with Bank policies and procedures
- Facilitate closings with the client and ensure lien perfection
- Work on routine to more complex documentation as assigned by Market Leader or designee
- Interface with company vendors, legal counsel, line partners and clients to ensure world-class documentation accuracy
- Complete primary financial booking and initial loan funding
- Maintain primary responsibility for accuracy of documentation and SOR financial data
- Ensure timely delivery of documents and elimination of controllable re-work
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or equivalent preferred
- Syndications experience a plus
- Loan IQ knowledge a plus
