Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field OR 4 years of experience in distribution center/warehouse operations or related area
- Basic computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Responsibilities
- Supervising a high performing team responsible for ensuring that new or existing product is set up correctly and efficiently in the DMS system
- Ensuring that product is placed in the correct location and that product dimensions, quantity, and tier height requirement are correct in the DMS system
- Resolving any inventory discrepancies, such as product that does not have a defined location in the warehouse
- Monitoring warehouse capacity and repositioning product accordingly in the system to enable space for new product
- Working with Operations to identify the best possible locations to place product for safe and efficient picking
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a role that builds knowledge of distribution facility processes, responsibilities, functions, limitations, controls and common problems
- Leadership experience with direct report responsibility
- Experience mentoring and coaching others
- Experience managing multiple projects/tasks simultaneously requiring a strong ability to prioritize and manage time
- Experience using troubleshooting processes to resolve problems
- Experience with software applications such as Excel, Access or Lowe’s DMS system
- Bi-lingual skills, if applicable to the facility
