Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in retail asset protection/loss prevention management
  • 2 years of experience with multiple store responsibility
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Word and Excel knowledge is required
  • Knowledge of conducting legal and ethical investigations
  • Ability to build strong business relationships with all levels of an organization
  • Ability to function in a team environment
  • Give as well as accept constructive criticism

Responsibilities

  • Drive and support Asset Protection (AP) strategies, including initiatives for Shrink, Safety and Profit Protection
  • Provide assistance and training to Field, Front Store & Pharmacy teams to address specific Asset Protection and/or Operational issues
  • Develop/support an AP Culture within an assigned span of control
  • Achieve results by forging strong business relationships and working in a team environment to service internal and external customers
  • Analyze information from various reporting tools to determine critical priorities for the assigned areas and provide objective, accurate and timely analysis of trends to operational field partners
  • Align with business partners to identify priorities and achieve goals
  • Work with Field Operations teams to define accountability and identify what needs be done to achieve the desired results
  • Enforce AP and shrinkage control programs to protect assets from loss due to internal/external theft and operational compliance issues
  • Provide timely follow up to ensure that plans and programs put in place are utilized and execution is achieved
  • Communicate with field teams to provide feedback on overall progress of initiatives, course correcting when appropriate

Preferred Qualifications

  • LP Qualified (LPQ) or LP Certified (LPC) preferred
  • Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to build positive relationships at various levels throughout an organization
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and provide/accept constructive criticism
