Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in a Distribution Center/ Production environment
Responsibilities
- Direct workflow for warehouse colleagues and lead the team to meet and exceed daily targets
- Manage day-to-day work operations and evaluate work performance
- Assist the DC manager in total leadership and operations with initiative, leadership, and continuous improvement thinking
- Execute daily activities and operational plans for the distribution area’s strategies
- Conduct performance appraisals using various reports, summaries, and procedures
- Analyze reports and provide recommendations to the operations manager on best practices
- Coordinate processes and assignments for areas within the warehouse
- Define terms for conducting tasks and establish new priorities for assignments
- Manage team performance through regular, timely feedback and formal performance review process
Preferred Qualifications
- Distribution Center or Manufacturing environment
- WMS experience
- Ability to manage conflicts and influence teams
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of leadership
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Regular and Reliable attendance
- Constant standing, bending, stooping, and climbing stairs
- Ability to lift 30-50 lbs. and up to 75 lbs. with team lift
