Disability Product and Business Technology Consultant

1+ years of experience in financial services or technically diverse environment – insurance experience preferred.
Analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with agile and waterfall implementation methods.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio) – expert Excel experience a plus.
Strong Adobe Acrobat Professional skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A demonstrated ability to quickly learn and understand business processes.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.

Analyze and evaluate existing Disability systems to identify, document, prioritize opportunities for improvement, and present recommendations to key business stakeholders and leadership.
Work with development teams to ensure the designed system is implemented according to specifications to meet the needs of our products.
Balance the needs of multiple business areas in identification and articulation of technical or procedural solutions.
Create, update, communicate, and implement procedures and documentation.
Leverage requirement techniques to gather business requirements including focus groups, workshops, document analysis, and interviews.
Define solutions that meet the prioritized business requirements based upon knowledge of products, business environment, and high-level understanding of technology potential.
Provide technical support to multiple business areas.
