Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in financial services or technically diverse environment – insurance experience preferred.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with agile and waterfall implementation methods.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio) – expert Excel experience a plus.
- Strong Adobe Acrobat Professional skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A demonstrated ability to quickly learn and understand business processes.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate existing Disability systems to identify, document, prioritize opportunities for improvement, and present recommendations to key business stakeholders and leadership.
- Work with development teams to ensure the designed system is implemented according to specifications to meet the needs of our products.
- Balance the needs of multiple business areas in identification and articulation of technical or procedural solutions.
- Create, update, communicate, and implement procedures and documentation.
- Leverage requirement techniques to gather business requirements including focus groups, workshops, document analysis, and interviews.
- Define solutions that meet the prioritized business requirements based upon knowledge of products, business environment, and high-level understanding of technology potential.
- Provide technical support to multiple business areas.
Preferred Qualifications
- Insurance experience preferred.
