Requirements

  • MS, MA, MBA, MHA or PhD in one of the following: Nonprofit Leadership, Business Management, Health Care Administration, Psychology, Human Services, or related field is required.
  • Achieves and maintains formal certifications and licensure in areas of required disciplines.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the nonprofit sector including philanthropic responsibilities is required.
  • 10 years of progressive leadership experience required.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and demonstrates the skills and competency appropriate to the ages, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patient population served.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively executes and directs work plans, goals, and objectives in accordance with Teen Health Connection’s mission, vision, values, and board-approved strategic plan.
  • Direct oversight of the Manager Health Education, Manager Behavioral Health Services and the Chief Psychologist.
  • Oversight responsibility for the outpatient behavioral health service line, ensuring high-quality and integrated services.
  • Oversight responsibility for the assessment service line, providing behavioral health triage assessment services.
  • Ensures long-term financial viability and a balanced portfolio of contributed income to sustain and grow the organization.
  • Supports and encourages partnership and collaboration with local and national funders.
  • Recruits, develops, and retains an engaged, diverse, inclusive, strategic, best-practice board that is mission-driven.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks while demonstrating overall effectiveness in communication, fundraising, negotiation, fiscal management, and working with a community leadership board.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performance team by cultivating shared goals, open communication, and supporting growth within role-aligned competencies.
