Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Accounting or Finance or relevant field; MBA preferred and/or Masters degree in Business, Health Policy, Health Economics, Life Sciences or healthcare discipline
  • 10 years’ pharmaceutical industry experience including market access, brand/specialty channel marketing and account management
  • Experience in achieving coverage and payment for branded specialty products
  • Prior experience with channel partners such as specialty pharmacies, GPOs, integrated health systems and payers
  • Knowledge of relevant legal, compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Experience leading and managing teams

Responsibilities

  • Originate and evaluate pricing programs to support market access goals
  • Support the complete CSL NA Seqirus portfolio, including pipeline and inline products
  • Partner with leaders across cross-functional units, including Commercial Operations, Legal Affairs, Policy, Compliance
  • Develop strategic pricing recommendations for private markets in collaboration with NA Commercial Operations teams
  • Guide strategic pricing decisions by collecting and analyzing industry pricing trends to obtain insights that will inform Market Access & Revenue Management decisions
  • Partner cross-functionally to incorporate a differentiated value proposition into product development from the earliest stages
  • Provide leadership to CSL Seqirus by communicating the current strategic pricing landscape and advocating for appropriate investment in evidence and market access programs
  • Provide consultation, apprenticeship on strategic pricing, and technical advice to internal colleagues throughout the organization
  • Influence pricing forecasting for all customer segments
  • Develop infrastructure (tools, systems, databases) to maintain pricing trends and history, allow analytics, and inform decision-making
  • Develop a long-term roadmap to evolve well-functioning strategic pricing capabilities
  • Influence Senior Leadership on interpreting important market events with a focus on securing investments for long-term growth
  • Collaborate with leaders across the organization to understand the market dynamics and analytical needs to support future growth
  • Contribute to the evaluation and evolution of Long-Range Plan (LRP), demand planning, and annual budget processes
  • Communicate insights from market intelligence and analytical projects to Senior Leadership

  • Develop a talented team and create synergies across the functions
  • Motivate the team to deliver results through meetings and to exceed Workplan objectives
