Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or higher desired
  • 10+ years of related experience in sponsorships and experiential industry
  • Knowledgeable about growth and emerging markets

Responsibilities

  • Executes programs through sponsorship activation, in alignment with AT&T marketing sponsorship objectives while effectively growing the AT&T brand and its product reputations among the targeted audiences
  • Serves as a subject matter expert externally in sports, culture, lifestyle and entertainment marketing industry and internally across the AT&T family of brands, and is able to clearly articulate the nuances of these platforms to peers and apply that knowledge to the execution of brand strategy work in a fast-paced environment
  • Engages across the Sponsorship team to determine how their work can be integrated across the properties and assets, to help achieve sponsorship goals and objectives
  • Engages with other marketing leadership to determine how goals and strategies for the AT&T brand and various lines of business can be integrated into planning and make recommendations to leverage properties and assets to help achieve business goals company-wide
  • Guides the appropriate strategies, messaging, and positioning to effectively reach and resonate with target audiences
  • Comfortable deriving relevant trends from proprietary research and utilizing that data to present thoughtful and succinct strategies and experiential marketing executions that resonate with target audiences
  • Responsible for negotiating sponsorship contracts, liaising with Legal, and gaining alignment on terms with key stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Builds relationships and represents the company with sponsored properties
  • Directs agency resources in the planning and execution of activation programs
  • Oversees research studies and applies measurement models to ensure positive sponsorships value on across the portfolio
