Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or equivalent years of experience
- 13+ years experience in digital media space
- 3+ years experience managing a team, including being a manager of managers
- 8+ years proven experience selling lower funnel/performance advertising
- Deep understanding of auction dynamics and multiple DR bidding types
- Proven ability to sell and upsell around unit economics and profitability
- Experience successfully bringing/scaling DR products to market
- Retail expertise (across all sub vertical types)
Responsibilities
- Have command of and be responsible for the growth of the Retail business unit at Snap and be able to inform client teams on trends within the Retail verticals
- Manage a team of Managers and Client Partners dedicated to Big Box, Retail Media Networks, and High Street brands
- Build and manage relationships with key senior leaders across Snap
- Hold your verticals accountable to revenue quotas and KPIs
- Define, execute, and deliver KPI-driven measurement strategies and narratives
- Understand broad industry trends and translate into strategic areas and opportunities to drive growth of the business
- Assist Sales leadership in determining individual quotas, account lists, and headcount for business unit
- Coach, mentor and help grow high performers to drive cross-company collaboration and impact beyond achievement to quota
- Influence outside of just their business unit, collaborating with XFN Teams to drive impact (i.e. working across multiple XFN groups to drive change that impacts all of the sales org)
- Scaling the work you do outside of just your team, impacting other verticals and team to drive revenue and success for Snap
- Determining and using the inputs that drive meaningful growth for the business in the short and long-term
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience managing a team and managers
- 15+ years experience in digital media space
- 5+ years experience managing a team, including being a manager of managers
- Pre-existing relationships with brand marketers within Retail and their advertising agencies
- Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams and all levels of management
