Requirements
- Proven experience in a renewals role, preferably in a leadership position.
- Strong understanding of customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Experience in managing and leading a team, with a focus on performance management and team development.
Responsibilities
- Create and collaborate with the sales team and other business leaders to drive renewal rates and minimize churn.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve renewal rates and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Monitor and manage customer portfolios to ensure timely renewals.
- Identify upsell opportunities and collaborate with sales teams to maximize revenue.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to promote contract renewals.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the renewal process.
- Negotiate renewal terms with clients and coordinate with sales teams.
- Track and report on renewal activities and trends.
- Maintain updated knowledge of the company’s products and services.
- Identify risks of contract cancellations and develop strategies to avoid them.
- Work closely with various teams like customer service, billing, and sales to ensure the renewal process is smooth.
- Manage and lead a team of renewal specialists, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the technology or software industry.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of revenue management.
