Requirements
- Master’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or another quantitative field plus a minimum of 7 years, typically 10 or more years, of applied business / non-academic experience, or equivalent
- Proven track record of applying advanced analytics to improve business results and resolve business problems
- Expert knowledge of data sources, tools and business drivers
- Possesses ability to articulate what limits are to certain tools (eg SAS) or methodologies
- Expert ability in Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical software packages (SAS, Emblem)
- Must have exceptional planning, analytical, decision-making, communication and project management skills
Responsibilities
- Generates agent and channel program insights and recommendations by synthesizing data from diverse sources using advanced analytical techniques
- Partners with program and project managers to assess agency program and partnership deal economics, to ensure programs are generating agent and agency value
- Measures ADS technology initiatives and ensures positive return on investment
- Conducts analysis on highly strategic, cross-functional initiatives for ADS and to support the Direct and Comparion go-to-market verticals.
- Manages multiple complex projects that have potentially significant financial impact on a range of business decisions within or across functional groups
- Presents findings and recommendations to senior leadership which impact profitability, growth,and/or agent satisfaction.
- Prioritizes work initiatives across multiple stakeholders and Distribution channels while ensuring analytical connectivity across both Direct and Comparion
- Continually assesses the business value and efficiency of the work performed, making suggestions for improvements and collaborating with others in implementing them.
- Fosters the development of team members and teammates by sharing expertise and experience through training or reviewing their work
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in SAS, SQL, Power BI, Snowflake and have strong Excel skills.
- Deep understanding of data sources and ability to learn new data sources/tables quickly.
