Requirements
- Strong leadership experience in process optimization, forecasting, and analytics.
- Systems or ERP knowledge with NS experience preferred.
- Working knowledge in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI tools) and ERP/CRM systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and drive business impact.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in sales operations, supply chain, finance, or a related field, preferably within consumer goods, retail, or logistics.
- Experience in pet product sales preferred.
Responsibilities
- Identify and implement process enhancements across the entire order-to-payment cycle.
- Lead initiatives to automate operational workflows in collaboration with IT, ensuring seamless system integrations and efficiency.
- Develop and implement best practices to improve accuracy, speed, and scalability of sales operations.
- Develop and execute strategies to improve operational efficiency, including pallet SKUs, full truck utilization, and 3PL partnerships.
- Lead initiatives to streamline fulfillment for key partners such as QVC’s extended assortment.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service excellence.
- Create ideal process for discrepancy resolution.
- Provide leadership in data-driven forecasting, inventory planning, and demand analysis.
- Oversee internal data resources to turn raw data into actionable insights and business opportunities.
- Leverage sales, operations and marketing performance metrics and dashboards to drive decision-making.
- Establish CF&R (Collaborative Forecasting and Replenishment) with larger retailers.
- Analyze internal and customer supply chain inventory positions and proactively identify potential issues before they impact sales.
- Implement inventory strategies that align upstream orders with operational efficiencies.
- Own and optimize the aging balances report to ensure timely collections and cash flow stability.
- Implement strategies to improve payment cycle efficiency and reduce outstanding balances.
- Mentor and lead the Sales Operations team, fostering a high-performance culture.
Preferred Qualifications
