Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree – open to any field of study
- 3+ years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- 3+ years of experience in training, coaching, or mentoring sales teams
Responsibilities
- Build and continuously refine a robust career development training curriculum for Account Managers who are 1 year to many years into their career.
- Create engaging, role-specific learning materials that emphasize communication, consultative skills, client relationship-building, and business acumen.
- Incorporate diverse training methodologies including interactive workshops, role plays, micro-learning, peer reviews, and hands-on coaching.
- Track impact of training on client outcomes, account growth, and individual performance.
- Train Account Managers on core communication skills—active listening, asking high-impact questions, identifying client pain points, and articulating value clearly and confidently.
- Provide frameworks and tools for Account Managers to adopt a strategic, consultative approach in their client relationships and expand client relationships through upselling and cross-selling.
- Ensure all training programs reinforce clarity, empathy, influence, and persuasion as foundational communication elements.
- Deliver 1:1 and small group coaching with a personalized approach to each team member’s growth goals and communication style.
- Give frequent, high-quality feedback to reinforce strengths and address growth areas.
- Guide Account Managers to self-reflect and self-correct, fostering independence and confidence.
- Lead engaging in-person and virtual training sessions that build skills and inspire confidence.
- Facilitate real-world simulations and scenario-based learning tied directly to client needs and WebFX’s service offerings.
- Serve as a trusted, motivating presence throughout each team member’s development journey.
- Partner with Internet Marketing leadership and Team Leads to identify training needs, close skill gaps, and align development efforts with business goals.
- Collaborate with leadership to map out clear growth paths and skill benchmarks for Account Managers at various stages of their careers.
- Stay attuned to client trends and evolving expectations, integrating those insights into training materials.
- Work alongside Product and Strategy teams to ensure Account Managers remain confident in our service offerings and differentiators.
