Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in corporate security, executive protection, physical security risk management, or a related field.
- Proven experience and strong knowledge of physical security technologies, access control systems, surveillance solutions, and emergency response protocols.
- Experience in incident management, crisis response, and business continuity planning.
- Proven ability to manage security vendors and ensure operational compliance.
- Ability to work under high-pressure conditions, make critical decisions, and respond to emerging threats in real-time.
- Excellent leadership, communication, problem solving skills, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working internationally.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement executive security strategies for Global C-suite executives.
- Analyze threat assessments and risk analysis for executive travel, both domestic and international.
- Manage vendor-provided protective security services, including close protection and secure transportation.
- Ensure security protocols align with current threat intelligence and geopolitical risks impacting executive travel.
- Oversee security planning and risk assessment for corporate events, industry conferences, and public engagements.
- Coordinate with security vendors to deploy protective measures, crowd management, and access control at high-profile events.
- Ensure security plans comply with local regulations, venue security policies, and emergency preparedness protocols.
- Act as the primary liaison between the security vendor, law enforcement agencies, and event organizers (internal & external).
- Develop and manage incident response protocols for security threats, including workplace violence/active shooter incidents, cyber-physical threats, natural disasters, etc…
- Serve as the Incident Commander in emergency situations, coordinating with internal stakeholders, security vendors, government agencies and law enforcement.
- Ensure real-time incident reporting, investigation, and resolution, leveraging vendor resources for immediate response.
- Conduct post-incident analysis and implement corrective actions to enhance future security measures.
- Investigate site security incidents and provide detailed reports.
- Coordinate with security vendors for physical security assessments of corporate offices, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending mitigation threat strategies.
- Ensure compliance with security best practices, access control policies, and emergency evacuation procedures.
- Oversee security technology implementation, including surveillance systems, intrusion detection, access control integration and training aligned with our global policy, with local threat considerations.
- Coordinate with building management, law enforcement, and emergency responders to maintain a secure corporate environment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for third-party security vendors, ensuring quality, security needs and service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Manage contract negotiations, performance evaluations, and compliance audits for vendor-provided security services.
- Collaborate with the vendor to optimize resource allocation, ensuring efficient deployment of security personnel, technology, logistics and continuous vetting.
- Maintain strong relationships with law enforcement, regulatory agencies, and global security partners to enhance security posture.
Preferred Qualifications
- Military, law enforcement (USSS) or intelligence officer background preferred
- EMT or other medical certifications are preferred.
