Requirements

  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience as a HR leader with broad HR Generalist skills
  • Working knowledge and practice of FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, OSHA, COBRA, etc. and an understanding of state and federal law
  • Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field of study; or equivalent experience
  • HR Certification active or in process
  • Excellent communication, presentation and listening skills

Responsibilities

  • Be a strategic advisor to operational leaders on all employment matters, including: Talent Acquisition & Recruitment, Compensation Strategy & Planning, Benefits Education & Administration, Employee Development, Training & Career Pathing, Performance Management, Employee Relations and Conflict Resolution, Compliance Management and Risk Mitigation
  • Bring Atrium’s Core Values to life by creating a positive, inclusive culture through events, recognition programs, and open communication
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting by collaborating with hiring managers, focusing on candidate experience, and leveraging innovative tools and strategies
  • Champion community engagement and represent the property in local outreach and Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives
  • Develop talent and leadership by partnering with Regional and Corporate leaders to provide coaching, training, and performance management for associates
  • Ensure safety and wellbeing, co-chairing the property safety committee and leading Workers’ Compensation processes with care and precision
  • Foster a transparent, approachable environment, where associates feel heard, understood, and supported — with a strong open-door policy and multiple communication channels
  • Roll up your sleeves and lead by example when new challenges or opportunities arise.
