Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field plus 10+ years’ experience in a leadership role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • PHR/SPHR Certificate preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of HR principles, practices and procedures
  • Exceptional leadership, customer service, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent project management and communication abilities
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong familiarity with HRIS systems and workforce planning tools

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals, drive employee engagement and promote a positive work culture
  • Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Resolve simple to complex employee relations issues effectively and identify broader opportunities for long-term success. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations. Utilize effective dispute resolution techniques
  • Monitor, develop and implement company-wide employee engagement efforts
  • Assess effectiveness of HR practices and actions and look for opportunities to improve HR programs and provide coaching that will yield optimal performance or results
  • Lead employee experience initiatives, including onboarding, performance management, and retention strategies
  • Provide guidance on employment law standards, company policies, and procedures to ensure legal compliance
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to address key people needs and develop talent management programs
  • Analyze HR practices and recommend improvements to enhance performance and contain costs. Manage HR budgets and resources effectively
  • Monitor employee engagement, conduct stay and exit interviews, and address attrition issues to promote a positive workplace culture
  • Partner with HR central functions such as, Compensation and Benefits, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, etc. to address employee needs and foster open communication and trust across the organization
  • Develop and communicate company policies, conduct audits for legal compliance, and provide coaching on compliance and process improvement
  • Measure HR program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement through data-driven decision making
  • Provide leadership and guidance on HR initiatives to support overall organizational success and employee satisfaction
