Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field plus 10+ years’ experience in a leadership role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- PHR/SPHR Certificate preferred
- Thorough knowledge of HR principles, practices and procedures
- Exceptional leadership, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent project management and communication abilities
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong familiarity with HRIS systems and workforce planning tools
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals, drive employee engagement and promote a positive work culture
- Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
- Resolve simple to complex employee relations issues effectively and identify broader opportunities for long-term success. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations. Utilize effective dispute resolution techniques
- Monitor, develop and implement company-wide employee engagement efforts
- Assess effectiveness of HR practices and actions and look for opportunities to improve HR programs and provide coaching that will yield optimal performance or results
- Lead employee experience initiatives, including onboarding, performance management, and retention strategies
- Provide guidance on employment law standards, company policies, and procedures to ensure legal compliance
- Collaborate with executive leadership to address key people needs and develop talent management programs
- Analyze HR practices and recommend improvements to enhance performance and contain costs. Manage HR budgets and resources effectively
- Monitor employee engagement, conduct stay and exit interviews, and address attrition issues to promote a positive workplace culture
- Partner with HR central functions such as, Compensation and Benefits, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, etc. to address employee needs and foster open communication and trust across the organization
- Develop and communicate company policies, conduct audits for legal compliance, and provide coaching on compliance and process improvement
- Measure HR program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement through data-driven decision making
- Provide leadership and guidance on HR initiatives to support overall organizational success and employee satisfaction
