Requirements
- 5+ years in a leadership role, managing and scaling engineering, and 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Proven track record of delivering customer solutions.
- Proven track record delivering solutions to help enable product and engineering teams.
- Strong computer science foundation.
- Experience working closely with mobile developers and mobile products.
Responsibilities
- Support teammates with individual goal-setting, professional development and mentoring.
- Work with teams to ensure delivery of maintainable, high-quality, customer-focused products.
- Hire smart, creative and kind engineers and managers.
- Manage dependencies between functional teams and facilitate collaboration.
- Drive projects by yourself or direct multiple teams and leaders to a desired outcome.
- Help teams work efficiently together and set ambitious, but attainable goals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with mapping technology
- Experience working both with startups and larger growth companies
- B.S. or M.S. in computer science or a related field or experience.
