Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field preferred)
  • 8+ years of engineering and maintenance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record in managing CAPEX projects and driving process improvements
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices and safety regulations
  • Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics

Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage all capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects from initial concept through to final implementation.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budgetary constraints, and aligned with strategic company objectives.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Identify, analyze, and implement process enhancements to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Drive initiatives to reduce costs, improve product quality, and enhance overall productivity.
  • Utilize data-driven methodologies to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • Establish, maintain, and enforce engineering specifications and standards to ensure consistent and reliable operations.
  • Develop and document best practices for engineering processes and procedures.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the maintenance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Oversee the effective execution of preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, and facility upkeep.
  • Implement and manage a robust maintenance management system to optimize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate closely with production, quality, safety, and other departments to ensure seamless operations and project execution.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination across teams to achieve common goals.
  • Ensure all engineering and maintenance activities comply with relevant safety regulations and company policies.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and implement safety protocols to minimize risks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cGMP environments is a plus
