Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of experience in content marketing, with at least 3 years managing people.
  • Proven experience leading content teams at a B2B SaaS company, preferably in FinTech, MarTech, or vertical SaaS.
  • Deep experience creating content strategies that span demand generation, thought leadership, SEO, and brand.
  • Strong creative instincts and an editor’s eye — you know how to turn insight into influence.
  • Experience producing or overseeing video content, podcast series, and/or multimedia storytelling.
  • Excellent written communication and project management skills.
  • A strong understanding of nonprofit audiences is a plus, but not required.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Own Fundraise Up’s content strategy and editorial calendar across web, video, email, social, podcast, and PR.
  • Lead and coach a team of 4 direct reports: Website & SEO Lead; Multimedia Producer (video, podcast, YouTube); Email & Lifecycle Content Manager; Social & Content Distribution Manager.
  • Manage Fundraise Up’s PR agency and coordinate media outreach, announcements, and press cycles.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to create narratives, long-form content, and customer stories that support our strategic positioning.
  • Collaborate with Demand Gen to turn anchor content into lead-gen campaigns and fuel ABM initiatives.
  • Develop and own the content strategy for the Fundraise Up Institute (our educational arm).
  • Architect and maintain our voice, tone, and content style guide across assets and platforms.
  • Establish and track content performance metrics — web traffic, video views, engagement rates, SEO lift, content-driven pipeline, etc.
  • Serve as an internal storyteller and strategic voice for the Fundraise Up brand.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A strong understanding of nonprofit audiences is a plus, but not required.
