Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in loss prevention, asset protection, or a related field, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role
- Experience managing multi-site operations across a region or territory
- Strong knowledge of loss prevention methods, investigative techniques, and security systems
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially in high-pressure situations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with loss prevention software and tools
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional asset protection strategies aligned with the company’s overall goals to reduce shrink, theft, and fraud
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of Regional Asset Protection Managers and teams within the region
- Monitor and analyze loss prevention metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Partner with Store Operations, Human Resources, and other departments to ensure alignment on Asset Protection initiatives
- Oversee risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
- Oversee investigations into theft, fraud, and other security incidents, ensuring proper documentation and resolution
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and other applicable laws to maintain a safe working environment
- Develop and deliver Asset Protection training programs for store associates, managers, and loss prevention teams
- Promote a culture of accountability and awareness around Asset Protection and safety throughout the region
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership, providing regular updates on Asset Protection performance, challenges, and successes
- Build strong relationships with law enforcement and external security organizations to support investigations and enhance security practices
- Evaluate and recommend investments in Asset Protection technology and tools to enhance operational efficiency
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI) preferred
- Loss Prevention Qualified (LPQ) or Loss Prevention Certified (LPC) preferred
