Requirements
- Typically 10+ years including 5+ years of management experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained
- Knowledge of SAP preferable
Responsibilities
- Manages the activities and staff involved in activities related to the purchasing and procurement of goods and supplies, equipment, services, systems, software or technical equipment for internal company use.
- Supports procurement activities company-wide to maximize scale efficiencies and deliver industry-leading effectiveness. Ensures procurement strategy aligns with company strategy.
- Develops and negotiates contracts, and implements and monitors procurement processes to ensure efficient execution and best in class acquisitions. Minimizes the company’s risk exposure to finance, audit and legal issues.
- Ensures compliance to formal sourcing/procurement policies and preferred supplier agreements.
- Manages a team including providing oversight and direction for financial and operational activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
