Director – Material Operations

Typically 10+ years including 5+ years of management experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained
Knowledge of SAP preferable

Manages the activities and staff involved in activities related to the purchasing and procurement of goods and supplies, equipment, services, systems, software or technical equipment for internal company use.
Supports procurement activities company-wide to maximize scale efficiencies and deliver industry-leading effectiveness. Ensures procurement strategy aligns with company strategy.
Develops and negotiates contracts, and implements and monitors procurement processes to ensure efficient execution and best in class acquisitions. Minimizes the company’s risk exposure to finance, audit and legal issues.
Ensures compliance to formal sourcing/procurement policies and preferred supplier agreements.
Manages a team including providing oversight and direction for financial and operational activities.
