Responsibilities
- You will lead the strategic planning process for the Lifecycle Services segment.
- Research new market opportunities, perform market and competitive scans and create strategic options.
- You will play an important role in cross-functional settings to uncover business opportunities, surface critical risks, advance expertise and influence strategic decisions.
- You will facilitate cross-functional project teams, lead strategic project assignments and deliver successful outcomes for the business and other segments.
- You will provide regular progress updates and presentations in several company forums and to key executives.
- You will partner with the Corporate Development team to ensure inorganic activities are tied to segment strategy.
- You’ll also network with external opinion leaders to bring an external perspective to value creation and differentiation.
- You will develop a competitive landscape analysis and drive scenario planning for the segment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Master of Business Administration
- Typically requires at least 12 years of experience in product or services business management.
- Must have a global mindset – understanding of key trends and challenges in the industrial automation industry.
- Strong business model and operating model understanding.
- Experience capturing and transforming an idea/concept into business opportunity and deliver positive results.
- Comprehend the requirements of customers or partners to bring strategic value to them.
- Promoting customer needs to guide our goals and initiatives.
