Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, with 10+ years as a communications professional in internal/corporate communications; external communications a plus.
- Exceptional writer, editor, and storyteller who can deliver communications that make the complex simple, and help associates feel connected and supported.
- Ability to develop and execute complex internal communications strategies and campaigns to promote associate benefits, including health, retirement savings, giving programs, and more.
- Create engaging content across various formats and channels – email, video, presentations, FAQs, intranet, newsletters, Viva Engage, etc. to achieve communication objectives.
- Proven success building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and business partners. Ability to independently engage with internal business partners, provide strategic communications counsel, navigate complex stakeholder models, and effectively evolve strategies based on feedback.
- Strong leadership, facilitation, decision-making and advocacy-building skills.
- Strong project management skills. Organized and process-oriented with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fluid environment. Manage communication timelines and content for key initiatives such as new benefit launches and annual enrollment, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to ensure communications materials align to desired tone, brand, and values and are inclusive and accessible.
- Experience partnering with Analytics team to gather data on engagement and use insights to improve communication effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic communications campaigns that support various HR programs and initiatives.
- Contribute to the team’s ‘One HR’ communications strategy for each of the HR business functions.
- Work within the Enterprise HR Communications team and collaborate day-to-day with other teams including Enterprise Content, Regional Communications, Creative Solutions, and the Fidelity Newsroom.
- Manage communication timelines and content for key initiatives such as new benefit launches and annual enrollment.
