Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct supply chain planning teams, developing and implementing strategies for departmental success and alignment with company goals.
  • Manage complex projects to optimize outcomes and directly impact strategic goals.
  • Plan, control, and manage finished goods inventory to meet production and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with teams to address constraints and optimize efficiency.
  • Make key decisions within the department, managing resources and approving projects.
  • Foster a culture of excellence by leading performance management, driving talent development, ensuring positive associate relations, enhancing engagement, and recognizing achievements.
  • Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with Good Practice (GxP) regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control.

  • Developing and achieving annual manufacturing and inventory budgets.
  • Taking charge of planning processes to develop long-term strategies for supply chain and MTO organizations (5-year strategic plans).
  • Leading continuous improvement of the S&OP Surgical portfolio.
  • Managing Life Cycle Management activities related to Global Supply Chain, MTO, Regulatory, and labeling.
  • Driving global service levels (OTIF) and inventory targets through entitlement models.
  • Implementing strategic decisions to increase end-to-end supply chain visibility.
  • Collaborating with global and local teams to define and align S&OP processes.
  • Optimizing and harmonizing global tactical planning activities by synchronizing volume and value planning, supporting the established strategy.
  • Leading and resolving supply bottlenecks by following prioritization rules established through the Surgical Franchise.
  • Overseeing, assessing, and reporting Global S&OP performance, measuring it against other companies/industries.
  • Applying important metric reporting to support a productive, forward-looking business process.
  • Driving manufacturing process change through master schedule attainment, capacity utilization, and demand variability to improve stock availability rates.
  • Developing and implementing inclusive, cross-functional life-cycle management processes.
  • Coordinating new product launches and product optimization, including product rationalization processes, with Commercial, R&D, Finance, Procurement, Regulatory, and MTO functions.
  • Monitoring, alerting, and addressing supply performance issues and successfully leading future capacity requirements in operations.
  • Serving as a change agent/business decision driver for required process and/or organizational changes within GSC and owning the sharing of Best Practices across franchises globally.
  • Driving root cause investigation of key business issues within the business franchise.
