Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree
  • 12+ years of experience in strategic finance, corporate finance, or FP&A, with at least 6 years in a leadership role
  • Strong expertise in capital planning, financial modeling, and corporate capital structures
  • Experience in preparing reports and presentations for Boards and senior leadership teams
  • Proven ability to manage investor relations and support financial decision-making processes
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly to diverse audiences
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to drive results and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning cycles
  • Develop and refine the company’s three statement financial models
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director of FP&A and the CFO to manage the corporate planning process, addressing future capital requirements in alignment with the company’s growth and strategic goals
  • Support corporate capital raises by working closely with internal leadership, the Senior Director of FP&A, and third-party advisors to secure necessary capital
  • Partner with appropriate business stakeholders to drive improvements in headcount planning process and related investments
  • Support the preparation of materials for Board meetings, providing financial insights and updates on key capital planning initiatives and corporate performance
  • Assist in the preparation of internal executive communications and external board reporting, providing clear and concise financial story and reporting and strategic recommendations
  • Partner with the Senior Director of FP&A and the executive team on ad-hoc projects, including investment scenarios and corporate strategy initiatives
  • Support special projects, such as M&A related, ensuring that key financial considerations are integrated into decision-making processes
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of FP&A professionals, fostering a culture of high performance
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring best practices in financial planning and analysis
  • Champion a culture of accountability, transparency, and data-driven decision-making within the finance team.
