Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in Business Technology or enterprise IT, with increasing leadership responsibilities in engineering, platform, automation, or DevOps functions
- 5+ years in a people leadership role with a track record of growing and scaling high-performing teams
- Experience delivering enterprise automation and integration platforms, including hands-on use of iPaaS tools like Boomi, MuleSoft, Workato, or similar
- Experience implementing RPA solutions using tools like Automation Anywhere, including identifying use cases and scaling adoption
- Familiarity with GenAI tools and technologies, and a proven ability to integrate AI-driven automation to drive operational efficiency and innovation
- Proven expertise in DevSecOps tooling and practices: CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Kubernetes, Terraform, secrets management
- Strong background in cloud-native technologies (AWS/GCP) and infrastructure security
- Deep understanding of integration architecture, data flows, and automation frameworks
- Experience leading teams in an agile environment and managing large-scale platform projects
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred)
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the enterprise automation and integration strategy, streamlining business processes and reducing manual effort through tools such as Boomi, Workato and custom automation frameworks.
- Drive the implementation of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and GenAI-powered solutions, identifying high-impact opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and enhance operational efficiency through AI-driven workflows.
- Build and evolve Okta’s internal platform ecosystem, delivering scalable and reusable frameworks for automation and integrations using iPaaS tools and modern design principles.
- Establish and champion secure DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, environment provisioning, and secrets management aligned with internal security and compliance standards (e.g., SOX, audit readiness).
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of engineers, architects, and analysts focused on automation, integration, and DevSecOps capabilities—fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and delivery excellence.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders in Security, Product, Infrastructure, and Business to translate complex requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective technical solutions.
- Drive the modernization of legacy systems, identifying and executing opportunities to consolidate platforms, reduce operational complexity, and improve system reliability and security.
- Own end-to-end delivery of high-impact, cross-functional programs, ensuring alignment, transparency, and measurable business outcomes throughout the execution lifecycle.
- Integrate compliance and security best practices into platform and deployment pipelines, including access controls, policy enforcement, and audit readiness.
- Define and track key success metrics and KPIs, including delivery velocity, system uptime, security posture, and automation ROI.
- Champion engineering excellence by embedding best practices around agile delivery, observability, testing, proactive monitoring, and continuous improvement.
