Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in email marketing, lifecycle marketing, or CRM roles in B2B SaaS or tech environments.
  • Deep knowledge of email marketing best practices, analytics, and automation tools.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot).
  • Proven ability to drive engagement, pipeline, and revenue through strategic email programs.
  • Analytical mindset with experience optimizing performance through experimentation.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and passionate about customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for email marketing across the buyer and customer journey.
  • Partner with digital, demand generation, product marketing, sales, and customer teams to deliver targeted, email programs aligned to growth goals.
  • Own development and execution of lifecycle and nurture programs for prospects and leads.
  • Align and optimize awareness, engagement, product education, consideration and conversion-focused email sequences.
  • Implement robust segmentation strategies to deliver relevant messaging at the right time to the right audience.
  • Leverage behavioral, demographic, and firmographic data for personalization and dynamic content.
  • Define KPIs, monitor performance, and run A/B tests to improve open rates, click-throughs, conversions, and pipeline/revenue impact.
  • Partner with analytics to develop dashboards and track campaign ROI and contribution to pipeline.
  • Have expert working knowledge of marketing automation platforms i.e. Marketo—to accelerate strategic planning.
  • Work with Marketing Operations to implement new tools and workflows to increase efficiency and scale automation.
  • Ensure all email programs are GDPR- and CAN-SPAM-compliant.
  • Champion email and deliverability best practices across the organization.
  • Eventually grow a high-performing team of email and lifecycle marketers.
