Requirements
- Undergraduate/Graduate degree in business or relevant professional designation.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a combination of Analyst, Relationship Management and/or Manager Commercial Credit roles in a banking environment.
- Well developed analytical, relationship management, credit structuring, coaching, and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage the credit and operational risk for TDIP’s loan portfolio.
- Analyze and understand complex credit proposals, including multi-lender situations.
- Perform due diligence in support of all applications, approving credits within delegated limits and making recommendations on all others.
- Interface with TD’s risk management group to interpret and apply policy effectively.
- Develop Associates’ and Associate Directors’ risk evaluation skills.
- Recommend credit packaging alternatives and discuss credit solutions with internal and external partners.

- Proven ability to understand the economic and industry specific circumstances that will impact the long-term viability of clients.
- Coaching expertise and experience as a mentor.
