Requirements
- Master’s Degree from accredited seminary, divinity school or equivalent
- Ordination or endorsement from a religious denomination/organization
- Minimum of five years’ experience coaching, consulting and training facilitation with faith communities and leaders
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary leader of the Center for Congregational Health
- Accountable to the Board of Trustees for the operations of the corporation
- Responsible for the development and oversight of strategy, designing structure, managing resources, and overseeing day-to-day operations
- Adhere to hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment
- Supervise Center employees and oversee the creation of national professional networks
- Support the enterprise in developing connections with faith communities
- Build healthy relationships with external partners for service delivery
- Propose, apply for, and manage grants
- Collaborate with partners to develop adaptive strategies and resources
- Provide oversight for internal and external communications
- Engage with staff to improve operational delivery
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctoral Degree from an accredited seminary, divinity school or equivalent
- Ordination or equivalent licensing for ministry
- Ten years’ experience coaching, consulting and training facilitation with faith communities and leaders
- Advanced Coach Training
- Consultant and Facilitator training
- Intentional Interim Ministry training
- Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
- Ability to work with diverse faith communities
- Ability to work in conflicted environments
- Ability to write and administer contracts and partnership agreements
- Supervisory skills with employees/contractors
- Grant writing and management
- Experience in oral and written communication including publications
- Experience in group facilitation (large and small groups)
