Requirements

  • Master’s Degree from accredited seminary, divinity school or equivalent
  • Ordination or endorsement from a religious denomination/organization
  • Minimum of five years’ experience coaching, consulting and training facilitation with faith communities and leaders

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary leader of the Center for Congregational Health
  • Accountable to the Board of Trustees for the operations of the corporation
  • Responsible for the development and oversight of strategy, designing structure, managing resources, and overseeing day-to-day operations
  • Adhere to hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment
  • Supervise Center employees and oversee the creation of national professional networks
  • Support the enterprise in developing connections with faith communities
  • Build healthy relationships with external partners for service delivery
  • Propose, apply for, and manage grants
  • Collaborate with partners to develop adaptive strategies and resources
  • Provide oversight for internal and external communications
  • Engage with staff to improve operational delivery

Preferred Qualifications

  • Doctoral Degree from an accredited seminary, divinity school or equivalent
  • Ordination or equivalent licensing for ministry
  • Ten years’ experience coaching, consulting and training facilitation with faith communities and leaders
  • Advanced Coach Training
  • Consultant and Facilitator training
  • Intentional Interim Ministry training
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
  • Ability to work with diverse faith communities
  • Ability to work in conflicted environments
  • Ability to write and administer contracts and partnership agreements
  • Supervisory skills with employees/contractors
  • Grant writing and management
  • Experience in oral and written communication including publications
  • Experience in group facilitation (large and small groups)
