Requirements

  • 10 years experience in SaaS sales, minimum of 7 years leading a team or multiple teams (2nd line management experience), with a demonstrated focus on expansion and customer retention.
  • Consistently exceeded individual and team targets and can train Account Managers on how to be successful in the role.
  • Expertise in navigating and leading multi-stakeholder sales processes, from engaging executive decision-makers to everyday product users, with a focus on delivering customer value and achieving target outcomes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to “read the room” and a passion for recruiting, hiring, and managing high-performing sales teams.
  • Enthusiasm for building scalable systems, coupled with analytical skills to optimize them over time.
  • Exceptional ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with diverse groups inside and outside the company.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with strong follow-through on projects and tasks of all sizes.
  • A drive to refine and advance sales playbooks while strengthening team and company culture.

Responsibilities

  • Own and optimize repeatable sales processes, driving revenue growth and customer retention to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Oversee the team’s long-term strategy while managing daily operations.
  • Recruit, hire, and retain a growing team of Customer Account Executives.
  • Empower your team with scalable systems and coach Customer Account Executives by teaching best practices in prospecting, managing, and closing opportunities. Develop their skills to meet customer needs and position Ironclad as an industry leader.
  • Foster and build upon a team culture that is positive, motivating, and performance-driven.
  • Track and report key growth metrics to assess individual and team performance.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Leadership Team to achieve results.
  • Demonstrate an ownership mentality and a deep commitment to customer success.
